For Author

Dear Colleagues!

Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, announces the call for submissions for the scientific professional journal "ARTSPACE" ("АРТПРОСТІР"). The journal is published twice a year. It accepts submissions dedicated to current issues in fine and decorative-applied arts, cultural studies, philosophy of art, and design. Postgraduates, doctoral students, master's students, and researchers in culture, art, and design are invited to collaborate.

 

The journal is included in the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Category "B": Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated June 11, 2026, "On the Inclusion of Scientific Periodical Publications in the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine" No. 928.

  • Cultural dimensions of art

 

Author Guidelines:

  • An article may have a maximum of three co-authors.

  • Only one article per author is permitted per issue.

  • Manuscripts are accepted in Ukrainian and English. The recommended article volume is from 0.5 author's sheet (20,000 characters with spaces) to 1 author's sheet (40,000 characters with spaces).

At the end of the article, a transliterated and English-translated version of the bibliography (References) must be provided, formatted according to APA (American Psychological Association) standards. English-only articles provide such information as main list of references.

Illustrations are provided if necessary. They should be placed after their first mention in the text, with the caption underneath set in 12 pt italic font. All illustrations must be cited within the text body.

 

Technical Formatting Guidelines:

Article length: From 0.5 to 1 author's sheet (20,000–40,000 characters).

Font: Times New Roman, font size – 14 pt, line spacing – 1.5.

Margins: 20 mm; paragraph indent – 1.25 cm; no hyphenation; justified text alignment.

Bibliography: Formatted according to APA standards. Sources are listed in the original language in alphabetical order. References to dictionaries and educational/methodological works (methodological guidelines, manuals, textbooks) are discouraged. Self-citation should not exceed 30% of the total number of sources.
